I am a problem solver and trial lawyer in Toronto, Ontario. That means I come up with unique solutions to solve problems for my clients. That means I can use the Court systems when it is necessary. I also believe in active listening, mediation, arbitration, and negotiation.
In 2022, I switched career paths and moved to an in-house litigation role at Intact Insurance. I no longer provide individual legal advice.
For or non-case specific and no legal advice contact, you can reach me at

Most problems can be solved with communication and calm logical analysis.
I don't believe lawsuits solve all problems. They can create more problems than they are worth. Litigation is very expensive and almost nobody will recover 100% of their legal expenses after successfully winning a lawsuit.
Some of the problems I've historically handled before transitioning to an inhouse role include:
Insurance disputes including fire loss, water damage, travel insurance, car theft, long term disability, critical illness insurance, and life insurance;
Serious personal injury including: motor vehicle injuries, bicycle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, assaults, and professional negligence;
Assisting with attending examinations under oath, completing a proof of loss, or issuing a statement of claim to protect a limitation period;
Employment disputes including wrongful dismissals and severance payments; and
Commercial litigation
I am actively teaching, speaking, and appearing at events and on the news. Please contact me for opportunities. I try to make myself available even on a last minute basis for morning, evening, or holiday appearances.
I have experience appearing on live TV, teaching in classrooms, and creating original content.
